John Kuryan, MD
Dr. John Kuryan specializes in the management of adult and pediatric patients with asthma and allergies. He has particular interest in nasal and sinus disease, as well as specific expertise in food allergy and eczema for children and adults. Dr. Kuryan accepts both adults and pediatric patients in our Willow Grove, Meadowbrook, Richboro and Philadelphia offices.
ABOUT DR. KURYAN
Dr. Kuryan is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He attended Widener University as part of an 8-year combined B.A./M.D. Medical Scholars program with Drexel University College of Medicine (formerly MCP Hahnemann). After receiving his M.D in 2006, Dr. Kuryan completed a residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System in New York. In 2012, he returned to his hometown of Philadelphia to join Allergy & Asthma Care.
Dr. Kuryan has presented his research at numerous national and international meetings. He is an active member of the American College of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology and the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology. He currently serves as the President & Managing Partner of Allergy & Asthma Care.
Dr. Kuryan is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and 3 children. His wife, Jocelyn, practices locally as an ophthalmologist, and they have served together on several international medical missions trips. They are also actively involved in their church in Philadelphia, and both serve on the Board of Directors of Bloom India, which is an organization dedicated to providing high-quality education to impoverished children.
